College Football Playoff and ESPN “Flash Fund” Dallas ISD Schools!

Woah, what a way to “kickoff” the weekend of the first ever College Football Playoff National Championship Game!
This afternoon, our founder Charles Best, announced to an audience of over 800 educators that the College Football Playoff Foundation and ESPN fully funded all classroom projects in the host cities of Dallas Independent School District and the Arlington Independent School District (Texas).
The funding is part of the College Football Playoff inaugural philanthropic initiative, Extra Yard for Teachers, which aims to make a significant impact in the classroom by supporting teachers. The flash funding brought over 185 classrooms to life helping more than 27,000 students receive the resources and experiences they need to learn and thrive.
The College Football Playoff Foundation will continue supporting teachers and students by distributing 75,000 (!) gift cards to fans attending Monday night’s game at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.  Whether you’re rooting for Oregon or Ohio State, teachers are still the winner!
