The first stop on our Back-to-School Backpacking trip is…… Pittsburgh, PA!
Middle school math students at Pittsburgh Student Achievement Center need supplies like pencils, folders, and notebooks. According to their teacher, Ms. Ralston:

When children are given the right supplies to learn they are more likely to want to learn. With these supplies I will be able to provide students with a complete resource pack for my classroom.
I feel that every student should come to school and not worry about how they are going to get the supplies they need to be successful. It’s unfortunate I am not always able to supply this by myself.

Can you imagine learning the Order of Operations without a pencil and paper? $5 can help Ms. Ralston fill 40 backpacks with the supplies her students need to master math.
